Machining Technician/Engineer - Immediate opening for a motivated and dependable candidate to provide technical support for our machining operations. The successful candidate will have 5 years CNC machining and programming experience cutting metal on milling and turning equipment. Other capabilities desired are prototype development, continuous improvement, perishable tooling & gauge selection, set-up and fixture prove out. CNC Machinist - Experienced Machinists capable of proficient performance in complete setup and operation on CNC lathes and mills are needed in this growing machining company. Candidates must have proven CNC experience in a production environment. Successful applicants must be able to interpret machining blue prints and use precision instruments. All shifts available. Industrial Maintenance – Immediate opening for candidate with strong electrical education and/or experience. Experience in the combined fields PLC programming and mechanical troubleshooting and repair is preferred.Divisional/Business Unit Manager - This position is responsible for the operations and performance of the Heat Treat Division. Successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years business management experience with executive and P&L oversight. Strong technical knowledge of Heat Treating and Metallurgy is desired. Must be able to multi-task, be a hands-on manager when needed and able to travel occasionally.Heat Treat Operators - Looking for career oriented team players with good mechanical aptitude and communication skills. Successful candidates excellent work habits with solid work history. Positions available at Erie and Kersey Pa locations.Maintenance Technician - Experienced maintenance technician to service industrial heat treating equipment. Must have a minimum 5 years experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs. Experience in refractory, instrumentation, plumbing, welding/fabrication and reading a variety of drawings and schematics preferred. This is a 1st shift position. Successful candidate must be self-motivated, reliable, able to lift 75 lbs and work from elevated heights. This position does require computer skills to work with maintenance software and data entry. This position is located at Modern’s Heat Treat Facility in Kersey, Pa. Sales Engineer – Successful candidate will be degreed in chemistry, biology or business with 3+ years direct experience with technical service, sales and marketing. A strong preference for individuals with environmental laboratory services experience. Must be able to demonstrate continued success in new business development.
